Attention Captains,

 

It’s that time again; time to start planning another great day of golf and festivities. This will be the 20th year of our tournament, due in large part to your generous support. The tournament was the brainchild and yearly obsession of my dad, Lou Ferendo. He dreamt it up over 20 years ago. It has since been rededicated the Lou Ferendo Memorial Golf Classic to benefit Manchester South Little League, in his honor. The event will once again be held on the Friday before Memorial Day, May 27, 2016 at Candia Woods in Candia, NH.

 Lou was extremely proud of his tournaments’ fund raising successes for South Little League and the funding it enabled for many special projects such as lights on the major field, modern bathroom facilities, the batting cage, field fencing and more recently, the new sound system. Lou looked forward to this time of year, every year, as he began preparations for the tournament. Last year's tournament was a great success, as usual, thanks to the many volunteers and their tireless efforts. Lou would have been proud and of course wouldn’t have missed a beat in asking everyone to come back this year and do it all over again. So, I guess that task falls on our shoulders this year as we start the wheels turning to bring you another day of golf at Candia Woods.

Please join us once again as we continue the annual event that Lou started 20 years ago.  Over 80% of last years participants have been with us since the beginning. On the Golfer Sign Up tab of this website you will find a short submission form to signup for the tournament.
